Sangre y Barro's Fabian Sal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, SC Quarz United's goalkeeper Anibal Xabat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Baladi. After 19 minutes, Ubaldo Galtero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Sangre y Barro and the SC Quarz United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, C. A. Sangre y Barro's Ubaldo Galtero got a free kick in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, C. A. Sangre y Barro got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Pasqual. Cecilio Ibañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute of the match Isaac Rami shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anibal Xabat showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match, Ricardo Baladi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anibal Xabat was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Marcos Nuno hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Ricardo Baladi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cecilio Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisito Baristo in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Sal saved C. A. Sangre y Barro from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Barea during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st match minute, C. A. Sangre y Barro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Barea to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Sal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiburcio Baumer in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Baumer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Sal. After 83 minutes SC Quarz United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wilfredo Pasqual who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Francisco Barea almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC Quarz United's Anibal Xabat did a great save. Ubaldo Galtero was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 86th match minute, C. A. Sangre y Barro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Galtero to maneuver through the defense. C. A. Sangre y Barro's Fabian Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Baristo in the 89th minute of play. When Ricardo Baladi came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the C. A. Sangre y Barro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Baladi couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Quarz United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
