After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Devoto's zone, Eloy Clemencin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Quintana came out of the goal and Eloy Clemencin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Iago in the 31st minute of play forced Auberdine FC's goalkeeper Lu Chang Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lu Chang Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Iago in the 32nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Eloy Clemencin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaudencio Quintana was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Gaudencio Quintana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leopoldo Pes's late challenge caught a Auberdine FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo Pes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Leopoldo Pes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Placido Bermudo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eloy Clemencin struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Gaudencio Quintana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Auberdine FC. In the 57th minute, Placido Bermudo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gaudencio Quintana, passed just outside the right post. In the 60th minute Jesus Ugaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lu Chang Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Devoto's goalkeeper Gaudencio Quintana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eloy Clemencin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Quintana having to interfere. Gaudencio Quintana was a little too slow when Placido Bermudo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-3. 88 minutes into the match, Atlético Devoto's goalkeeper Gaudencio Quintana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eloy Clemencin. If Placido Bermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, Atlético Devoto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Pes to maneuver through the defense. Cleto Eriz, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Auberdine FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
