Erubiel Neto scored 2-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaudencio Quintana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Erubiel Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Pes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Devoto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Resando solo the free kick. In the 26th minute, Leopoldo Pes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Atlético Devoto getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jesus Ilazki hit a great ball. Jesus Ugaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesus Ilazki kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Gaudencio Quintana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erubiel Neto in the 38th minute. In the 43rd minute Emanuel Iago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Lope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 played minutes Atlético Devoto got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Iago. With a little luck, Atlético Devoto's Gaudencio Quintana got control of the ball when Erubiel Neto tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Enetz in the 52nd minute of play forced Atlético Devoto's goalkeeper Gaudencio Quintana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erubiel Neto in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaudencio Quintana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filomeno Enetz in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaudencio Quintana saved Atlético Devoto from getting behind. Gaudencio Quintana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Enetz in the 69th minute of play. Gaudencio Quintana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erubiel Neto went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Atlético Devoto getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jesus Ugaitz hit a great ball. After 81 minutes of play Atlético Devoto's Jesus Ilazki was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 90th match minute, Atlético Devoto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Iago to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Filomeno Enetz sped through Atlético Devoto's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaudencio Quintana.
