Without hesitation aimed to the right of Celestino Beltran, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Vicente Sansone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Philipps AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Sansone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celestino Beltran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nereo Frantzes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Vicente Sansone had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celestino Beltran. Peto Chico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Sansone was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 26th minute, Philipps AFC's Nereo Frantzes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Luis Oinatz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Philipps AFC's Ezequiel Loreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Henrico in the 34th minute of play. Nereo Frantzes struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Celestino Beltran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Philipps AFC. 38 minutes into the match, Philipps AFC's Nereo Frantzes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celestino Beltran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vicente Sansone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Beltran having to interfere. After having played for 41 minutes, Nereo Frantzes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Philipps AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Frantzes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nereo Frantzes got free with Celestino Beltran in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nereo Frantzes to make the kick off. Philipps AFC's Victoriano Umea got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 54 minutes, Vicente Sansone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Philipps AFC and the Peto Chico players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Philipps AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Vicente Sansone hit a great ball. Celestino Beltran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Sansone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Philipps AFC's Nereo Frantzes got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Peto Chico's zone, Vicente Sansone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celestino Beltran came out of the goal and Vicente Sansone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nereo Frantzes in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celestino Beltran saved Peto Chico from getting behind. A collision led to Peto Chico getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Valentin Atarrabi hit a great ball. Nereo Frantzes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Celestino Beltran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peto Chico's goalkeeper Celestino Beltran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, Peto Chico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Belo to maneuver through the defense. If Nereo Frantzes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peto Chico's Celestino Beltran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Sansone in the 82nd minute of play. When Philipps AFC's Nereo Frantzes in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peto Chico's goalie prevented a goal. After 85 minutes of play Peto Chico's Valentin Atarrabi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Valentin Atarrabi hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 88 minutes Peto Chico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vicente Sansone who took care of the corner kick. When Romulo Casado came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Philipps AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romulo Casado couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute Nereo Frantzes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Beltran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Philipps AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
