Aquiles Oalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Isaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Infierno Rojo's Carlos Isaio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After the first half Infierno Rojo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Damaso Calvet made the kick off in the second half. Damaso Calvet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquiles Oalo having to make a save. In the 58th minute Norberto Pepillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Unax saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Damaso Calvet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eriberto Gaztea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Unax having to interfere. If Norberto Pepillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damaso Calvet in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquiles Oalo saved antidoping 10 from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in antidoping 10's zone, Damaso Calvet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Oalo came out of the goal and Damaso Calvet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 97 minutes, Esteban Curcio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Infierno Rojo and the antidoping 10 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 98th match minute, Infierno Rojo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Curcio to maneuver through the defense.
