An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Santos Madeo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Nuno in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Cristofor saved Soitué from getting behind. After having played for 15 minutes, Igor Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soitué's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Igor Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soitué's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Medina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saul Nuno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Raul Cristofor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Soitué's Raul Cristofor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Nuno in the 45th minute of play. Igor Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Augusto Medina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soitué. After the first half Soitué were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Igor Azevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. Rene Selatse missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 68 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Raul Cristofor right hand side. Saul Nuno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Igor Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Medina made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Igor Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. Raul Cristofor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Nuno in the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to Soitué getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Clemente Navarro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Madeo in the 85th minute of play forced Soitué's goalkeeper Raul Cristofor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Madeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saul Nuno struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. In the 95th minute, Redondo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Igor Azevedo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Soitué supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Soitué would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
