Jaime Pirmin kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Anibal Odon struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Jonatan Taurino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Urdin in the 12th minute of play forced Naunauco's goalkeeper Jonatan Taurino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Estudiantes's goalkeeper Esteban Barto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Basajaun. A wasted opportunity for Naunauco. 23 minutes into the match, Estudiantes's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Frisco came free, but Esteban Barto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anibal Odon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonatan Taurino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Cristian Basajaun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Naunauco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Basajaun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnoldo Vitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Taurino having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Estudiantes's Nicanor Urdin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonatan Taurino narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

In the 51st match minute, Naunauco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Basajaun to maneuver through the defense. Nicanor Urdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Taurino having to interfere. Simon Mateo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteban Barto having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes's zone, Dionisio Frisco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Barto came out of the goal and Dionisio Frisco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingo Berdoi kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Naunauco's Rene Fero got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, Nicanor Urdin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esteban Barto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Frisco in the 76th minute of the match. Cristian Basajaun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Esteban Barto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cayetano Pudes's late challenge caught a Naunauco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cayetano Pudes helped the player get up and apologised. Cayetano Pudes hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Simon Mateo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Anibal Odon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Odon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonatan Taurino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Estudiantes booed when Naunauco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Fero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Naunauco's zone, Anibal Odon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonatan Taurino came out of the goal and Anibal Odon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
