Spectators: 6651 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julian Chaime kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Eriberto Martino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Energía FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Adrian Felo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Urdin, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Nicanor Urdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Martino might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteban Barto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eriberto Martino ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute, Nicanor Urdin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Felo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Prospero Natal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Adrian Felo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Felo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Natal in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Adrian Felo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Natal in the 52nd minute of play. Julian Chaime received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Esteban Barto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteban Barto came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Energía FC's Julian Chaime. But to his dismay, Julian Chaime quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 69 minutes into the match, Estudiantes's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Martino came free, but Esteban Barto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Federico Sendoa hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Prospero Natal came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Estudiantes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Natal couldn't finish the play. Adrian Felo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Urdin in the 82nd minute of play. If Julian Chaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Chaime in the 85th minute of play forced Estudiantes's goalkeeper Esteban Barto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Nicanor Urdin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Havier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Arnoldo Vitin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Vitin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Felo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
