Jimeno Henry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Severino Bixintxo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sorocayense FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave QUEMEROS FC the free kick. Severino Bixintxo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Baltasar Lehior blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nereo Raymon having to make a save. Jimeno Henry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Gonza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-0 became the score in the 19th minute when Jacinto Gonza elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sorocayense FC's Jimeno Henry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Gonza in the 30th minute of play. Ciro Cugat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Jimeno Henry made a huge save. Severino Bixintxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Raymon having to interfere. After 37 minutes of play, Sorocayense FC's Celestino Colon made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nereo Raymon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Severino Bixintxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had been going on for 49 minutes, QUEMEROS FC's Fulgencio Frances got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jimeno Henry. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celestino Colon was the one to do the kick off. Jacinto Gonza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Baltasar Lehior got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, QUEMEROS FC's Leonides Distiratsu got a free kick in the 91st minute. After having played for 93 minutes, Celestino Colon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sorocayense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Colon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severino Bixintxo struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Nereo Raymon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sorocayense FC. The QUEMEROS FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sorocayense FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
