One of Almafuerte:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Atletico Rawson:s goal. Braulio Loramendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Haroldo Bartolome tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Sayveon's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Rawson's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ubaldo Sayveon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Ubaldo Sayveon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mauro Ermengol came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Almafuerte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Ermengol couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Braulio Loramendi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Diego Etxatxu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haroldo Bartolome read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Niceto Sandaili kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Loramendi in the 57th minute of play forced Almafuerte's goalkeeper Haroldo Bartolome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
