In the 18th minute, Reynaldo Polo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicasio Urtsua came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aristides Elija could save by the left post. In the 26thth minute of the game Rolando Tallia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pozuelos's Jonas Reynardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gaston Sandaili's late challenge caught a Comunicaciones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaston Sandaili helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute, Gaston Sandaili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristobal Oinaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Elija having to interfere. Gaston Sandaili could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Aristides Elija made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Tallia in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Reynardo saved Pozuelos from getting behind. Jonas Reynardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Cordario in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pozuelos's Reynaldo Polo got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 46 minutes into the game, Adan Dalmu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Comunicaciones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pozuelos the free kick. After 46 played minutes Comunicaciones got a freekick which was hit by Adan Dalmu. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rolando Tallia was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Pozuelos's Clodoveo Pierres got a free kick in the 51st minute. Jonas Reynardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Tallia in the 55th minute of play. A hard shot 57 in the game by Rolando Tallia from a close distance when the talented Jonas Reynardo managed to make a qualified save. Pozuelos's players were relieved. 64 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Comunicaciones's Rolando Tallia fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Rolando Tallia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonas Reynardo came out and tried to block the shot, but Rolando Tallia slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 68th minute. Clodoveo Pierres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Oinaz in the 78th minute of play forced Comunicaciones's goalkeeper Aristides Elija to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Pierres notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Comunicaciones's Aristides Elija. Aristides Elija was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Comunicaciones's Luciano Cordario got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Florentino Calisto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonas Reynardo, 2-2. The Comunicaciones fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristides Elija should have stopped the shot.
