Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nestor Guifre got the match started through his kick off. If Arsenio Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Natal's late challenge caught a Relmo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristobal Natal helped the player get up and apologised. 7 minutes into the game, one of Maldonado FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Maldonado FC:s Damaso Cordera showed great skill when he stopped Marciano Geofredo:s penalty. 9 minutes into the game, Marciano Geofredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Damaso Cordera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Uriel Abascal scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damaso Cordera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Maldonado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Milian came free, but Damaso Cordera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Relmo booed when Maldonado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Natal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damaso Cordera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquilino Laurin went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Maiorga in the 29th minute of play forced Relmo's goalkeeper Niceto Elizardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Ostargi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arsenio Milian scored 0-4 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damaso Cordera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Maldonado FC's Erubiel Maiorga got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the game, Relmo's Arsenio Milian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damaso Cordera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Rafael Bonadona hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Maldonado FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Uriel Abascal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Pablo Ostargi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damaso Cordera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uriel Abascal in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Abascal in the 84th minute of play forced Maldonado FC's goalkeeper Damaso Cordera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 played minutes Maldonado FC got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Maiorga. Damaso Cordera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Milian in the 93rd minute of the match. The Maldonado FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Relmo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
