After 19 played minutes, Los Galácticos F.C.'s Manuel Cayo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aristides Elija came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Galácticos F.C. reached it. A collision led to Comunicaciones getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Celedonio Nuñez hit a great ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Hugo Dubardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Galácticos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Dubardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolando Tallia made a kick off. Gregorio Sayvion struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Aristides Elija didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Galácticos F.C.. 59 minutes into the match, Comunicaciones's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Sayvion came free, but Aristides Elija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Los Galácticos F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Comunicaciones had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
