The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Clemente Endira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Jonas Reynardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 4 played minutes Pozuelos got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Pirmin. Valentin Cebrian hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Clemente Endira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. The attack was good, but when Cristobal Oinaz in the 18th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Bernardo Pirmin charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Pirmin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicasio Urtsua got free with Damaso Salvadore in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, Gorgojo FC's goalkeeper Damaso Salvadore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaston Sandaili. When Gorgojo FC's Clemente Endira in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pozuelos's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Pozuelos booed when Gorgojo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Nardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vinicio Valentine hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Pozuelos's Cristobal Oinaz managed to work through Gorgojo FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Cristobal Oinaz dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gorgojo FC's goalkeeper Damaso Salvadore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Osvaldo Vasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes in the game, Nicasio Urtsua dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvaldo Vasco to make the kick off. Cristobal Oinaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Urtsua in the 57th minute of play forced Gorgojo FC's goalkeeper Damaso Salvadore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Endira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Jonas Reynardo made a huge save. Clemente Endira came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonas Reynardo could save by the left post. Jonas Reynardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Vasco in the 78th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clemente Endira during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clemente Endira hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Osvaldo Vasco came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Gorgojo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Vasco couldn't finish the play. Clemente Endira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Jonas Reynardo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jonas Reynardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Endira in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Vasco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonas Reynardo. Osvaldo Vasco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. The Pozuelos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gorgojo FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Gorgojo FC.
