Efrain Dimo took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dario Jerrald. Dario Jerrald dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 21st match minute, Villa San Carlos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Dabi to maneuver through the defense. Efrain Dimo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dario Jerrald having to make a save. After 25 minutes, Jonas Dabi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villa San Carlos and the El Pase al Pie F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonas Dabi hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in El Pase al Pie F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Luisito Nastasio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Pase al Pie F.C's Guido Gaufred got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Efren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Nastasio having to interfere. Guido Gaufred sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Felix Efren made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Villa San Carlos's zone, Guido Gaufred stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Nastasio came out of the goal and Guido Gaufred tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Efren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 57thth minute of the game Felix Efren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa San Carlos's Luisito Nastasio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guido Gaufred sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guido Gaufred's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisito Nastasio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After 65 played minutes, El Pase al Pie F.C's Daniel Sal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luisito Nastasio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line.
