Emanuel Naike tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimiro Koldo struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Emanuel Naike didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gardey. 13 minutes into the match, Gardey's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Astudillo came free, but Tiburcio Rocendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Rocendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Txerran in the 16th minute of the match. If Alejo Astudillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th match minute, Foos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute of the match, Vladimiro Koldo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emanuel Naike saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pablo Raphael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gardey's Pablo Raphael got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 37 played minutes Foos FC got a freekick which was hit by Teo Felipo. After a defensive mix-up in Foos FC's zone, Vladimiro Koldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Naike came out of the goal and Vladimiro Koldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiburcio Rocendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Astudillo in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Foos FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vladimiro Koldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Foos FC's Emanuel Naike played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Artizar in the 53rd minute of play. Alejo Astudillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santo Janpier was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Foos FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Pablo Raphael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vladimiro Koldo came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Gardey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Koldo couldn't finish the play. Alejo Astudillo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 75th playminute. In the 78th minute, Alejo Astudillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gregorio Gutierrez came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tiburcio Rocendo could save by the left post. Alejo Astudillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiburcio Rocendo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 91st minute, Nicasio Lando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Foos FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
