The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Ostadar was the one to do the kick off. Maximino Senin came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nicolas Vermudo could save by the left post. In the 56th match minute, Iturraspe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Meder to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Iturraspe's zone, Maximino Senin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Vermudo came out of the goal and Maximino Senin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolas Vermudo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximino Senin in the 64th minute. Nicolas Vermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Tabby, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. With a little luck, Iturraspe's Nicolas Vermudo got control of the ball when Maximino Senin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 82 minutes, Gervasio Iraunkor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iturraspe and the Wales Baby players grew even worse after the yellow card.
