Spectators: 7036 (Terracing: 5436, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Celestino Eriz took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Chilcas's Guaberto Lorencio got a free kick in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Chilcas's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Pacho came free, but Mariano Primeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Julio Asur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute of the match Hipolito Beremundo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mariano Primeiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nereo Bermund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Eriz in the 14th minute of play. Teobaldo Pacho might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mariano Primeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teobaldo Pacho ran back to his position shaking his head. Mariano Primeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Elodio, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 23 minutes of play, Real Betis Balompié's Angel Elodio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Primeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nereo Bermund had great luck who in the 27thth minute grab hold of the ball when Celestino Eriz from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. With a little luck, Real Betis Balompié's Nereo Bermund got control of the ball when Adrian Licerio tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Godofredo Dantel fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Betis Balompié's protests and gave Godofredo Dantel a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Real Betis Balompié got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Dantel. Desiderio Quinten charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Desiderio Quinten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Desiderio Quinten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Chilcas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Real Betis Balompié were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teobaldo Pacho to make the kick off. If Teobaldo Pacho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adrian Licerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Bermund having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Chilcas got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Lorencio. In the 77th match minute, Chilcas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Honrio to maneuver through the defense. If Adrian Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Adrian Licerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chilcas's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Licerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Bermund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adrian Licerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Bermund having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Eriz in the 95th minute of play forced Real Betis Balompié's goalkeeper Nereo Bermund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Real Betis Balompié eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
