Ariel Rik started the match with the kick off. Enrique Ipar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Frederik in the 4th minute of the match. Fermin Artal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th match minute, Recreo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Rosio to maneuver through the defense. When Inter Miami's Ariel Rik in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Recreo's goalie prevented a goal. After 24 played minutes Recreo got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Rosio. In the 27th minute Ariel Rik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Nabar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Braulio Obeko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Recreo's supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Obeko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Ipar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fermin Artal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Toro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Eulalio Nabar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Recreo getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ariel Frederik hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Braulio Obeko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valentin Sauveur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Nabar having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 55th minute when Ariel Rik elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Ariel Rik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eulalio Nabar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 65 minutes into the match, Recreo's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Rik came free, but Eulalio Nabar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72ndth minute of the game Ariel Rik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Recreo's Eulalio Nabar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eulalio Nabar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ariel Rik's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes Inter Miami got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Toro. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Ariel Rik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter Miami's supporters rose to their feet, but Ariel Rik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eulalio Nabar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ariel Rik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel Rik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Nabar having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Recreo's zone, Ariel Rik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eulalio Nabar came out of the goal and Ariel Rik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Inter Miami were the better team. Inter Miami's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
