Enrique Ipar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Nataniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Argider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Enrique Ipar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Inter Miami booed when 32SlotOnlyPub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Ledesma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ariel Rik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, 32SlotOnlyPub's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Rik came free, but Saturnino Corderro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The long shot by Eriberto Mantzio in the 23rd minute really tested Saturnino Corderro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Inter Miami's Ariel Rik in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 32SlotOnlyPub's goalie prevented a goal. Enrique Ipar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Argider in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th minute Ariel Rik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Corderro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32SlotOnlyPub's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Ariel Rik scored to the left of an out of position Saturnino Corderro, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Argider in the 41st minute of play forced Inter Miami's goalkeeper Enrique Ipar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

If Pablo Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saturnino Corderro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Rik, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Ariel Rik succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the 32SlotOnlyPub players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
