After having played for 8 minutes, Gabriel Sanson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NUR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Sanson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isaac Gartzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Efrain Rocendo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Arsenal Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Fiz. NUR's Luisito Vistruario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save NUR from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the match, NUR's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Rudolfo came free, but Luisito Vistruario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Rudolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Luisito Vistruario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Damian Ferran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arsenio Honrio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Luisito Vistruario made a huge save. 32 minutes into the game, Arsenal Football Club's Arsenio Honrio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luisito Vistruario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Pascual Fiz struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Luisito Vistruario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal Football Club. Luisito Vistruario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arsenio Honrio in the 40th minute. Narciso Rudolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Luisito Vistruario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efrain Rocendo came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by NUR's Gabriel Sanson. But to his dismay, Gabriel Sanson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaac Gartzi was the one to do the kick off. If Arsenio Honrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 57 played minutes NUR got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Oriol. In the 59thth minute of the game Arsenio Honrio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NUR's Luisito Vistruario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Arsenal Football Club booed when NUR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Oriol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arsenal Football Club were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after NUR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guillermo Fero took the corner. After taking down the ball on Arsenal Football Club's corner Guillermo Fero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luisito Vistruario quite easily take care of the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for NUR! The referee gave Arsenal Football Club a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Guillermo Fero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of NUR's Luisito Vistruario. 3-1. In the 100th minute, Freddy Oriol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the NUR players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Arsenal Football Club.
