Spectators: 7213 (Terracing: 5411, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Camilo Polentzi kicked off to start the match. Rene Ramone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Lapurdi in the 7th minute of the match. VAC Zollner's Rene Ramone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Polentzi in the 9th minute of play. After 9 played minutes VAC Zollner got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Tavio. Camilo Polentzi took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Ramone. Rene Ramone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Camilo Polentzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bartolo Lapurdi took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Ramone. Rene Ramone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Marcelo Tavio hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Marcelo Tavio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute Bartolo Lapurdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Ramone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Donzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Tavio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marcelo Tavio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Tavio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Donzel having to interfere. Marcelo Tavio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Camilo Donzel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 44 minutes, Marcelo Tavio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VAC Zollner's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Tavio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute, Ruben Guzman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. VAC Zollner's Marcelo Tavio got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The VAC Zollner players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Moderno were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelo Tavio made a kick off. Camilo Polentzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Ramone having to interfere. Bartolo Gai tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Rene Ramone. But to his dismay, Apolo Jorrin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. With an all-out effort, El Moderno's Rene Ramone threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Camilo Polentzi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the El Moderno defense, Marcelo Tavio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Donzel. The El Moderno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Donzel should have stopped the shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Polentzi couldn't finish the play. Camilo Donzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Tavio, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. El Moderno were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over VAC Zollner's much stronger midfield.
