Laureano Pagomari ran back to his position shaking his head. Abelardo Natanael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Teodoro Laurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Laurin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Pagomari in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute Lorenzo Jacob suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 14th match minute, Capilla del Monte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Raitin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Capilla del Monte's zone, Laureano Pagomari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Laurin came out of the goal and Laureano Pagomari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laureano Pagomari made a kick off. Laureano Pagomari could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Teodoro Laurin made a huge save. Mario Osasun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gavino Veremundo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Atilano Asier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Mario Osasun notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Chivas de mexico's Gavino Veremundo. Gavino Veremundo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 90th minute Mario Osasun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Veremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
