The supporters of Team Benja 66 booed when VAC Zollner was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Gai didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match, Edelmiro Tabor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rene Ramone saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Team Benja 66's zone, Apolo Jorrin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Duardo came out of the goal and Apolo Jorrin tried to chip the ball over his head. In the 45th minute, Team Benja 66's Edelmiro Tabor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rene Ramone. Rene Ramone yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Edelmiro Tabor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 54 minutes into the match, VAC Zollner's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Calvino came free, but Rene Ramone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
