The audience was convinced that Jose Henry's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prudencio Mundo was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Jose Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Prudencio Mundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisito Gagriel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Aureo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Gervasio Leguizamón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22ndth minute of the game Modesto Aureo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Joaquín F.C.'s Luisito Gagriel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gervasio Leguizamón hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 23 minutes of play, BIG's Modesto Aureo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luisito Gagriel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luisito Gagriel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Aureo in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Dionisio Ipar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BIG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionisio Ipar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luisito Gagriel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Aureo in the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Modesto Aureo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisito Gagriel. Joaquín F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Modesto Aureo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Dionisio Ipar sped through Joaquín F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luisito Gagriel. After the first half BIG were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jose Henry made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Americo Lehior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Mundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisito Gagriel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Aureo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BIG's Prudencio Mundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Henry in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Joaquín F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Aureo came free, but Luisito Gagriel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Americo Lehior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionisio Ipar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Bermudez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joaquín F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BIG the free kick. A collision led to Joaquín F.C. getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ambrosio Bermudez hit a great ball. Luisito Gagriel made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Blas Rius sent off a good shot on target. Jose Henry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Mundo having to interfere. Joaquín F.C.'s Luisito Gagriel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Joaquín F.C. from getting a goal against them. Americo Lehior's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prudencio Mundo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Prudencio Mundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Henry, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, BIG's Gavino Orlanda got a free kick in the 88th minute. Modesto Aureo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisito Gagriel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Luisito Gagriel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Aureo in the 93rd minute of the match.
