Ulysses de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Rafel having to interfere. Falckner's Tomás Quirce got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Turo Brilhante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Quirce's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Marco Rafel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tomás Quirce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Marco Rafel made a huge save. San Martín City's Marco Rafel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Quirce in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Turo Brilhante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falckner's supporters crossed their fingers, but Turo Brilhante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severo Matei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Orlandus in the 31st minute of play. Dênis Leme took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Rafel. Marco Rafel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. San Martín City's Marco Rafel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Quirce in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, San Martín City's Ermegildo Liher got a free kick in the 40th minute. When Tomás Quirce came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Falckner fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Quirce couldn't finish the play. Daniel Maule sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Tomás Quirce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Rafel was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The long shot by Eliseo Astudillo in the 48th minute really tested Marco Rafel's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aldo Ihazintu was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Turo Brilhante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomás Quirce might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Rafel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Quirce ran back to his position shaking his head. When Eliseo Astudillo fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Falckner's protests and gave Eliseo Astudillo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Eliseo Astudillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. San Martín City's Marco Rafel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulysses de Andrade in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Quirce in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Rafel saved San Martín City from getting behind. If Eliseo Astudillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 68 minutes, Tomás Quirce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falckner's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Quirce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute Tomás Quirce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Rafel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falckner's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ulysses de Andrade in the 74th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ulysses de Andrade got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Rafel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tomás Quirce blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Rafel having to make a save. Turo Brilhante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Marco Rafel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Rafel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Quirce went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Quirce in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Rafel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Falckner walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
