When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Esteve Oalo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gilberto Betadur to make any attempt to save it. CebollitasFC's Gilberto Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Oalo in the 7th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Bruno Cristofor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HUDSON CITY BERA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The supporters of CebollitasFC booed when HUDSON CITY BERA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Frichoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorenzo Senon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ismael Mincho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Idacio hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. CebollitasFC's Gilberto Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Oalo in the 22nd minute of play. Ismael Mincho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Fliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Mincho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lorenzo Senon's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Gilberto Betadur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Cristofor in the 31st minute. If Freddy Chap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Emanuel Gartzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to CebollitasFC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Baldomero Lop hit a great ball. Freddy Chap struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Ismael Mincho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CebollitasFC. If Hugo Fliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 43 minutes, Hugo Fliz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CebollitasFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Fliz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lorenzo Senon in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Mincho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lorenzo Senon made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Freddy Chap got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Emanuel Gartzi's late challenge caught a CebollitasFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Gartzi helped the player get up and apologised. Emanuel Gartzi kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Lorenzo Senon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Fernandez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gilberto Betadur. CebollitasFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, HUDSON CITY BERA's Roque Goyo got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Lorenzo Senon came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the CebollitasFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Senon couldn't finish the play. The CebollitasFC fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when CebollitasFC's Lorenzo Senon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Emanuel Gartzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 played minutes CebollitasFC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Bide. In the 87th minute, Gogo Jorrin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CebollitasFC's Gilberto Betadur didn't even have to move. 90 minutes into the match, Bruno Cristofor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto Betadur. CebollitasFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Cristofor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. If Lorenzo Senon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 played minutes HUDSON CITY BERA got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Ur. CebollitasFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
