In the 12th minute, Andres Tallia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gualterio Guillelmus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sixto Oroitz's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Sixto Oroitz sped through Esperanza AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gualterio Guillelmus. When Candido Vasco fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Strandvik IL's protests and gave Candido Vasco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Strandvik IL's Candido Vasco got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 29 minutes into the game, Strandvik IL's Andres Tallia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gualterio Guillelmus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Leo Ixidor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 42 minutes into the match, Strandvik IL's Andres Tallia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gualterio Guillelmus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Esperanza AFC's Gualterio Guillelmus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Oroitz in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Giraldo in the 47th minute of play forced Strandvik IL's goalkeeper Leo Ixidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Pelayo made a kick off. Angel Iliana might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Ixidor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angel Iliana ran back to his position shaking his head. Esperanza AFC's Gualterio Guillelmus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Esperanza AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, Andres Tallia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gualterio Guillelmus. The goal made the score 1-3. After having played for 60 minutes, Sixto Oroitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strandvik IL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Oroitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Esperanza AFC's zone, Andres Tallia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualterio Guillelmus came out of the goal and Andres Tallia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andres Tallia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gualterio Guillelmus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Tallia, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute Anselmo Pelayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Ixidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sixto Oroitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gualterio Guillelmus having to make a save. Sixto Oroitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Sixto Oroitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strandvik IL's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Oroitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Guillelmus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the match, Andres Tallia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gualterio Guillelmus, 1-5. If Angel Iliana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Esperanza AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Strandvik IL were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
