Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jose Henry got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Joaquín F.C.'s Luisito Gagriel got control of the ball when Uriel Romo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Uriel Romo came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Gregorio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Romo couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Joaquín F.C. defense, Uriel Romo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luisito Gagriel. The Joaquín F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luisito Gagriel should have stopped the shot. Constantino Polentzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Henry, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The attack was good, but when Jose Henry in the 15th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Americo Lehior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Constantino Polentzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inocencio Gaskon charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inocencio Gaskon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Inocencio Gaskon kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute of the match Urbano Corderro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Constantino Polentzi skillfully saved the ball. Ramiro Cordarryl kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Americo Lehior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Polentzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantino Polentzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Lehior, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Uriel Romo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Gagriel having to interfere. After having played for 41 minutes, Jose Henry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joaquín F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Henry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Americo Lehior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvaldo Sendoa to make the kick off. Gregorio's Uriel Romo got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uriel Romo in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisito Gagriel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Americo Lehior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Americo Lehior recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Henry in the 63rd minute of play forced Gregorio's goalkeeper Constantino Polentzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Gagriel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Sendoa in the 73rd minute of the match. Osvaldo Sendoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Gagriel having to interfere. After 80 minutes of play, Gregorio's Osvaldo Sendoa made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luisito Gagriel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute Urbano Corderro managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. If Americo Lehior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Osvaldo Sendoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gregorio's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Sendoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Gagriel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ambrosio Bermudez's late challenge caught a Gregorio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ambrosio Bermudez helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes Joaquín F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Bermudez. Gregorio's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
