Spectators: 6965 (Terracing: 5415, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pascual Marko took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Retomados FC's zone, Zeledon Santiago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Oinatz came out of the goal and Zeledon Santiago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lino Suarez's late challenge caught a Retomados FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lino Suarez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cholila's Lino Suarez got a free kick in the 11th minute. Pascual Marko struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Mariano Ted didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Retomados FC. After having played for 14 minutes, Pascual Marko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Retomados FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascual Marko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Pascual Marko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Suarez got his second yellow card in the match during the 18th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 18 played minutes Cholila got a freekick which was hit by Lino Suarez. 20 minutes into the match, Pascual Marko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mariano Ted, 1-0. Cesar Ignatius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Ted having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Mariano Ted successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 30 played minutes Cholila got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Incendio. Isidoro Tirso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Mariano Ted made a huge save. If Isidoro Tirso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pascual Marko came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Retomados FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascual Marko couldn't finish the play. Cholila's Mariano Ted played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Marko in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zeledon Santiago made a kick off. Isidoro Tirso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Ted having to interfere. When Retomados FC's Pascual Marko in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cholila's goalie prevented a goal. Zeledon Santiago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Retomados FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Cesar Ignatius hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Cholila's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Marko came free, but Mariano Ted reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Santiago came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cornelio Oinatz could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Isidoro Tirso put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mariano Ted. Zeledon Santiago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Isidoro Tirso notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Cholila's Mariano Ted. Mariano Ted was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cesar Ignatius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Pascual Marko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Retomados FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascual Marko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Ted breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cholila players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Retomados FC.
