Spectators: 6562 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 5) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ladislao Dalmu started the match with the kick off. Martin Etxatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Feliciano Matteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Etxatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulgencio Darien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aaron Papo made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Baldomero Piorno sent off a good shot on target. Fulgencio Darien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 minutes, Tomas Soin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carlos Paz City and the Iguazú AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Fulgencio Darien managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carlos Paz City's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulgencio Darien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliciano Matteo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fulgencio Darien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute, Martin Etxatxu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carlos Paz City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Arnoldo Obano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Feliciano Matteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 43 minutes into the game, when Urbano Pelayo put in a rough tackle. 42 minutes into the game, one of Carlos Paz City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fulgencio Darien was the one to do the kick off. Feliciano Matteo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Darien in the 51st minute of the match. Iguazú AFC's Feliciano Matteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Obano in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Baldovino in the 55th minute of play forced Iguazú AFC's goalkeeper Feliciano Matteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Carlos Paz City's Fulgencio Darien nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliciano Matteo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Fulgencio Darien's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliciano Matteo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Fulgencio Darien who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Feliciano Matteo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 67th minute, Carlos Paz City's Fulgencio Darien ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Feliciano Matteo. Feliciano Matteo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Carlos Paz City's Aureliano Baldovino got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baldomero Piorno kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Paz City's Arnoldo Obano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Feliciano Matteo. That made the score 1-4 after 78 minutes of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Fulgencio Darien managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carlos Paz City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulgencio Darien was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Iguazú AFC's goalkeeper Feliciano Matteo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aureliano Baldovino. 89 minutes into the game, Iguazú AFC's Augusto Rumaldo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aaron Papo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Aaron Papo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Pabla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Paz City played a much better game than Iguazú AFC and deserved their victory. The Iguazú AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
