Valentin Nofre might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herminio Bero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Nofre ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Cresconio in the 24th managed to get into a good position. The referee ignored Gerli FC's protests and gave Genaro Roland a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute Luis Cresconio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Bero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Gerli FC booed when Goles son Amores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Peruanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleto Txomin hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Gonzalo Chico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Genaro Roland was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
