Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Iguazú AFC's Ladislao Dalmu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Augusto Rumaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Cresconio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Feliciano Matteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Valentin Nofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Nestor Gabon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Feliciano Matteo. The goal made the score 1-0. Luis Cresconio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Feliciano Matteo made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Iguazú AFC's zone, Luis Cresconio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliciano Matteo came out of the goal and Luis Cresconio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Gerli FC booed when Iguazú AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Piorno didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Iguazú AFC defense, Valentin Nofre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feliciano Matteo. The Iguazú AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliciano Matteo should have stopped the shot. Luis Cresconio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Matteo having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Luis Cresconio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Matteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes Gerli FC got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Malvin. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Luis Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gerli FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Cresconio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliciano Matteo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Cresconio was the one to do the kick off. Luis Cresconio scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliciano Matteo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Cresconio in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliciano Matteo saved Iguazú AFC from getting behind. If Valentin Nofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bonifacio Donostia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Dalmu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Chico in the 71st minute of play forced Iguazú AFC's goalkeeper Feliciano Matteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Gonza kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Iguazú AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Cresconio came free, but Feliciano Matteo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luis Cresconio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Nofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ladislao Dalmu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Donostia having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Gerli FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
