Simon Serapio started the match with the kick off. Atilano Gines stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Sedat Tanbay's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, Melba's Lino Chabier got a free kick in the 5th minute. Ahmet Sedat Tanbay struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Atilano Gines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avant Garde FC. 6 minutes into the game, Ahmet Sedat Tanbay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Atilano Gines was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 8 minutes, Ahmet Sedat Tanbay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avant Garde FC and the Melba players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Ahmet Sedat Tanbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the game, Mateo Nerio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Melba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avant Garde FC the free kick. Mateo Nerio kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Cipriano Pello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Gines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liu Zheng Bin charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Liu Zheng Bin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Liu Zheng Bin hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Simon Serapio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Lindar Webster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atilano Gines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Hernando, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Gerardo Hernando struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Atilano Gines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avant Garde FC. Gerardo Hernando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute Vladimiro Lordi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Gines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Damian Huchro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atilano Gines was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Damian Huchro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Liu Zheng Bin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Gines having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Cipriano Pello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 56th minute of the match Mateo Nerio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mateo Nerio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Melba getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Mateo Nerio hit a great ball. Gerardo Hernando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerardo Hernando took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atilano Gines. Atilano Gines dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Vladimiro Lordi struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Atilano Gines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avant Garde FC. Liu Zheng Bin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Gines having to interfere. Atilano Gines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Hernando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimiro Lordi didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-4 via right post in the game's 69th minute. Avant Garde FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 72nd match minute, Melba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Fe to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes in the game, Liu Zheng Bin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Atilano Gines having to interfere. Melba's Atilano Gines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Hernando in the 76th minute of play. Cipriano Pello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 85th minute, Damian Huchro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Avant Garde FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Atilano Gines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Hernando in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute of the match Avant Garde FC got a corner. Melba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gerardo Hernando ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Avant Garde FC's Damian Huchro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Avant Garde FC's Gerardo Hernando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atilano Gines narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Damian Huchro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atilano Gines made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vladimiro Lordi in the 96th minute. Avant Garde FC played a much better game than Melba and deserved their victory. The Melba players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
