The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Alonzo Dantel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leeds United Bernal and the Ezequil F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. With his leg Bonifacio Corderun managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Leeds United Bernal's Prudencio Oalo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Di Lorenzo in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bonifacio Corderun saved Ezequil F.C. from getting behind. Silvio Theodore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Florian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvio Theodore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Florian in the 18th minute of the match. Prudencio Oalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bonifacio Corderun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Di Lorenzo in the 27th minute of the match. Rigoberto Rencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Theodore having to interfere. If Rigoberto Rencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Leeds United Bernal's Leonardo Di Lorenzo in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ezequil F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Prudencio Oalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leeds United Bernal's supporters rose to their feet, but Prudencio Oalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bonifacio Corderun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Leonardo Di Lorenzo came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Leeds United Bernal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Di Lorenzo couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonardo Di Lorenzo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Ezequil F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Di Lorenzo came free, but Bonifacio Corderun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bonifacio Corderun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alonzo Dantel's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Rigoberto Rencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ezequil F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Rencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvio Theodore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Angel Florian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Rencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Silvio Theodore made a huge save. The long shot by Herminio Abeijon in the 78th minute really tested Silvio Theodore's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After having played for 79 minutes, Prudencio Oalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leeds United Bernal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Oalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bonifacio Corderun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Di Lorenzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bonifacio Corderun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Angel Florian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ezequil F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Angel Florian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvio Theodore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rigoberto Rencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Rencio took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvio Theodore. Silvio Theodore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.
