Gerardo Hernando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Sedat Tanbay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Argenis was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Lindar Webster made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Jacinto Gilabert sent off a good shot on target. Iker Txurio kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The referee ignored Gaelicos's protests and gave Adrian Ospetsu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gaelicos getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Adrian Ospetsu hit a great ball. Lindar Webster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Txurio, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24thth minute of the game Ahmet Sedat Tanbay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaelicos's Jorge Argenis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Ahmet Sedat Tanbay notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gaelicos's Jorge Argenis. Jorge Argenis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Avant Garde FC fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Avant Garde FC's Ahmet Sedat Tanbay looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jorge Argenis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Sedat Tanbay in the 35th minute of the match. Avant Garde FC's Gerardo Hernando got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerardo Hernando made a great header on Avant Garde FC's corner, it was just that Gaelicos's Jorge Argenis managed to reach the ball for a save. Vladimiro Lordi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Sedat Tanbay in the 42nd minute of play forced Gaelicos's goalkeeper Jorge Argenis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lindar Webster made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Jacinto Gilabert sent off a good shot on target. After 44 minutes, Liu Zheng Bin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avant Garde FC and the Gaelicos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Liu Zheng Bin hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Jacinto Gilabert reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lindar Webster. The goal made the score 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iker Txurio made a kick off. If Vladimiro Lordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lindar Webster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Txurio, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th match minute, Gaelicos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Selmo to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Argenis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Sedat Tanbay's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Ahmet Sedat Tanbay sped through Gaelicos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jorge Argenis. In the 65th minute, Avant Garde FC's Ahmet Sedat Tanbay dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Gaelicos's Jorge Argenis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Gaelicos from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Sedat Tanbay in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Argenis saved Gaelicos from getting behind. Avant Garde FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
