The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of FC Hollywood:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yeclano FC:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hollywood's zone, Alonzo Grabiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Txerran came out of the goal and Alonzo Grabiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Godfredo Oalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yeclano FC's Alberto Marcones proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Yeclano FC from getting a goal against them. 44 minutes into the game, FC Hollywood's Godfredo Oalo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberto Marcones made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ariel Lorenz made a kick off. Ariel Lorenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Txerran didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Godfredo Oalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Marcones came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Hollywood's Ovidio Petri. But to his dismay, Ovidio Petri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 81 minutes into the match, Ovidio Petri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Marcones. Yeclano FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ovidio Petri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Yeclano FC's Alonzo Grabiel got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Txerran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Lorenz, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Godfredo Oalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Alberto Marcones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Hollywood's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
