The shot was stopped by Gaspar Oliviero but with some difficulty. Francisco Rozarius's late challenge caught a River MdP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Rozarius helped the player get up and apologised. Pedro Fero kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Ángel Labruna took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gaspar Oliviero. Falda FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mauricio Conrao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gaspar Oliviero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaspar Oliviero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernán Díaz in the 17th minute of play. Melchor Firme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Oliviero having to interfere. Falda FC's Gaspar Oliviero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Falda FC from getting a goal against them. Benjamin Eneas kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Falda FC's Eleuterio Berriotxoa managed to work through River MdP's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Eleuterio Berriotxoa dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Everardo Quico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falda FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Quico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Victoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the match, River MdP's Hernán Díaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaspar Oliviero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 37 played minutes, River MdP's Norberto Yácono shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gaspar Oliviero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in River MdP reached it. Hernán Díaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Oliviero having to interfere. Mauricio Conrao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Gaspar Oliviero made a huge save. With a little luck, Falda FC's Gaspar Oliviero got control of the ball when Mauricio Conrao tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eleuterio Berriotxoa made a kick off. Laureano Victoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Berriotxoa in the 51st minute of play. Gaspar Oliviero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernán Díaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauricio Conrao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Oliviero having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Falda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernán Díaz came free, but Gaspar Oliviero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Eleuterio Berriotxoa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gaspar Oliviero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernán Díaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Falda FC's Gaspar Oliviero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Conrao in the 61st minute of play. Hernán Díaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Falda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernán Díaz came free, but Gaspar Oliviero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Lartaun kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. If Mauricio Conrao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes Falda FC got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Ermengol. Ángel Labruna was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 95th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 96 minutes, Pedro Fero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falda FC and the River MdP players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 97 played minutes Falda FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Fero. There was no doubt that River MdP were the better team. River MdP's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
