In the 15th minute of the match Gerardo Petrigai sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Sancho skillfully saved the ball. Florencio Jaume hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Eleuterio Chayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eleuterio Chayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute Alfonso Su shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Enetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eleuterio Chayo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Enetz having to make a save. Dante Sancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Henric in the 32nd minute of the match. Florencio Bernaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Sancho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eloy Henric's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marengo's goalkeeper Dante Sancho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Marengo's Damian Vidal got a free kick in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Alfonso Su managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Su was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Enetz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florencio Bernaldo made a kick off. A hard shot 51 in the game by Eloy Henric from a close distance when the talented Dante Sancho managed to make a qualified save. Marengo's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Marengo's Humberto Eguntsenti got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Florencio Bernaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Dante Sancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Claypole AFC's Amadeo Breogan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Sancho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antonio Enetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Chayo in the 62nd minute of the match. Eloy Henric sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Marengo's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Bernaldo came free, but Dante Sancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Sancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Bernaldo in the 67th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jairo Seguinus during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Marengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Seguinus to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Jairo Seguinus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antonio Enetz. Claypole AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Seguinus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Alfonso Su put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Antonio Enetz. After a defensive mix-up in Marengo's zone, Florencio Bernaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Sancho came out of the goal and Florencio Bernaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Marengo's Alfonso Su in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Claypole AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Florencio Bernaldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Sancho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florencio Bernaldo ran back to his position shaking his head.
