Spectators: 6661 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) Luque AFC's Alfredo Uzuri started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eriberto Lehen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Erauso in the 7th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Luque AFC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Sotil. In the 13th match minute, Luque AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Gorri to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Riachuelo's Isaac Austin tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Luque AFC's zone, Agustin Palban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Lehen came out of the goal and Agustin Palban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luque AFC's Eriberto Lehen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Erauso in the 26th minute of play. Eriberto Lehen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Erauso, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Teofilo Erauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Eriberto Lehen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Luque AFC's goalkeeper Eriberto Lehen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustin Palban. Riachuelo's Severiano Jobo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agustin Palban made a kick off. Anier Hug scored 1-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robustiano Playo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anier Hug got free with Robustiano Playo in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adolfo Sotil kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute of the match Isaac Austin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eriberto Lehen skillfully saved the ball. Eriberto Lehen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Palban in the 62nd minute of play. After 66 minutes of play Luque AFC's Adolfo Sotil was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Riachuelo booed when Luque AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Sotil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustin Palban scored 2-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eriberto Lehen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Agustin Palban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Eriberto Lehen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Riachuelo's Teofilo Erauso got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Robustiano Playo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anier Hug in the 93rd minute. Eriberto Lehen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Palban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Riachuelo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
