Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Riachuelo's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Joanes came free, but Robustiano Playo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Benigno Joanes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agustin Palban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Riachuelo's Teofilo Erauso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Faustino Pio. Faustino Pio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Faustino Pio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Erauso in the 25th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Lucio Tonete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Riachuelo's zone, Lucio Tonete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robustiano Playo came out of the goal and Lucio Tonete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severiano Jobo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Faustino Pio made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Benigno Joanes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benigno Joanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Robustiano Playo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benigno Joanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Benigno Joanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Playo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benigno Joanes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Roque Behe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faustino Pio skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Erauso in the 53rd minute of play forced QBSLC's goalkeeper Faustino Pio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 minutes of play, Riachuelo's Teofilo Erauso made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustino Pio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Faustino Pio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Palban, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. QBSLC's Benigno Joanes got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faustino Pio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Erauso in the 81st minute of the match. If Agustin Palban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 92nd play minutes Agustin Palban shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Faustino Pio and just under the crossbar into goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Riachuelo could leave the field as winners, despite QBSLC having more of the ball for most of the match.
