In the 6th minute, Laureano Jayvier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute Feliberto Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Pio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Lucio Tonete got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Federico Remir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Joanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Julio Saturnin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faustino Pio. QBSLC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julio Saturnin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, QBSLC's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Saturnin came free, but Faustino Pio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino Pio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Fernandes in the 24th minute of play. Benigno Joanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Federico Remir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Castelli's zone, Lucio Tonete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Remir came out of the goal and Lucio Tonete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th match minute, QBSLC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Tonete to maneuver through the defense. Faustino Pio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Feliberto Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Pio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Castelli's Feliberto Fernandes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faustino Pio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benigno Joanes was the one to do the kick off. Laureano Jayvier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Remir having to interfere. Jeremias Iban charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremias Iban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. QBSLC's Benigno Joanes got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. QBSLC's Faustino Pio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save QBSLC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 65 minutes, Feliberto Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castelli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute Feliberto Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Pio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Jacobo Niva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castelli's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacobo Niva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Pio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucio Tonete was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. A collision led to QBSLC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Lucio Tonete hit a great ball. Gualterio Ibon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Faustino Pio came out and tried to block the shot, but Gualterio Ibon slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 74th minute. Laureano Jayvier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Remir having to interfere. After 82 played minutes QBSLC got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Jayvier. After a defensive mix-up in Castelli's zone, Silvestre Quinito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Remir came out of the goal and Silvestre Quinito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Benigno Joanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laureano Jayvier didn't quite understand what happened when in the 91 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Although QBSLC had been in control for most of the match, Castelli still came away with the win.
