The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Leftraru F.C. getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Denis Fertus hit a great ball. Guillermo Gaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Ubendu in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Jose Ubendu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jose Ubendu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Gaitan having to interfere. Geronimo Etxeberri kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Alonzo Artaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Guillermo Gaitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Leftraru F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Velin Hanúmov. The audience was convinced that Jose Ubendu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guillermo Gaitan was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 15thth minute of the game Jose Ubendu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leftraru F.C.'s Guillermo Gaitan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 20 played minutes Leftraru F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Valerio. When Jose Ubendu came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Viamonte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Ubendu couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Bernardo Baumer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viamonte's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Baumer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillermo Gaitan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Leftraru F.C. booed when Viamonte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Viviano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 played minutes, Leftraru F.C.'s Nestor Beremundo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Esteban Constancio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leftraru F.C. reached it. Hector Crispo in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Esteban Constancio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 39th minute, Alonzo Artaldo made a precise shot to the right of Guillermo Gaitan. Leftraru F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Esteban Constancio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Delmar Shepherd. 48 minutes into the match, Hector Crispo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Viamonte's Esteban Constancio. Esteban Constancio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jose Ubendu to strike the kick off in the second half. Jose Ubendu scored 1-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guillermo Gaitan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jose Ubendu in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guillermo Gaitan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Esteban Constancio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Crispo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Leon Kelemen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillermo Gaitan. Leftraru F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leon Kelemen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Geronimo Etxeberri charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geronimo Etxeberri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, Leftraru F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Etxeberri to maneuver through the defense. Santos Haimar's late challenge caught a Viamonte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santos Haimar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Leftraru F.C. getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Santos Haimar hit a great ball. The referee showed Denis Fertus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Leftraru F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Denis Fertus. The Viamonte fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Viamonte's Jose Ubendu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Ubendu in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillermo Gaitan saved Leftraru F.C. from getting behind. In the 85th match minute, Leftraru F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Valerio to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Leftraru F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jose Ubendu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Viamonte's Leon Kelemen got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guillermo Gaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Ubendu in the 97th minute of play. Esteban Constancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Etxeberri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 99 played minutes Viamonte got a freekick which was hit by Leon Kelemen. Viamonte's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
