A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Geronimo Etxeberri came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Leftraru F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Etxeberri couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Palban in the 9th minute of play forced Leftraru F.C.'s goalkeeper Guillermo Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustin Palban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Guillermo Gaitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leftraru F.C.'s Hector Crispo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 24 minutes in the game, fortunately Robustiano Playo had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Hector Crispo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robustiano Playo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. When Mauro Pinto fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riachuelo's protests and gave Mauro Pinto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Riachuelo getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Mauro Pinto hit a great ball. Hector Crispo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Robustiano Playo made a huge save. In the 29th minute Agustin Palban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Gaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Riachuelo's zone, Geronimo Etxeberri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robustiano Playo came out of the goal and Geronimo Etxeberri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robustiano Playo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Etxeberri in the 32nd minute of the match. Hector Crispo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Robustiano Playo made a huge save. Robustiano Playo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Geronimo Etxeberri showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 34 minute of play. Hector Crispo took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robustiano Playo. Robustiano Playo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Robustiano Playo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Etxeberri in the 44th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geronimo Etxeberri in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robustiano Playo saved Riachuelo from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Geronimo Etxeberri made the kick off in the second half. Robustiano Playo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Crispo in the 53rd minute of play. Velin Hanúmov hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Riachuelo's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Etxeberri came free, but Robustiano Playo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Leftraru F.C. booed when Riachuelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robustiano Playo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Crispo in the 64th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonatan Argina during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Leftraru F.C.'s Jonatan Argina got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The audience was convinced that Geronimo Etxeberri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robustiano Playo was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Isaac Austin placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After having played for 99 minutes, Agustin Palban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riachuelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustin Palban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leftraru F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
