An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Senon in the 41st minute of play forced CASLA's goalkeeper Alejo Osorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norberto Gil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Benet in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

A wasted opportunity for CASLA. 84 minutes into the match, Justino Arce notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Salado FC's Norberto Gil. Norberto Gil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Angelo Rufio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
