Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) QBSLC's Benigno Joanes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, QBSLC's Faustino Pio got control of the ball when Placido Osoitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benigno Joanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Gil having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Salado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Joanes came free, but Norberto Gil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Salado FC's zone, Lucio Tonete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Gil came out of the goal and Lucio Tonete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. QBSLC's Faustino Pio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Senon in the 21st minute of play. If Benigno Joanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Tonete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Salado FC's zone, Nestor Urbasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Gil came out of the goal and Nestor Urbasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucio Tonete kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Benigno Joanes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benigno Joanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Norberto Gil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregorio Senon was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Nestor Urbasa made a precise shot to the right of Norberto Gil. Salado FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Placido Osoitz struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Faustino Pio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salado FC. The supporters of QBSLC booed when Salado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Frederik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Laureano Jayvier sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Salado FC's Norberto Gil didn't even have to move. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ermegildo Ospetsu during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ermegildo Ospetsu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Salado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Joanes came free, but Norberto Gil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Benigno Joanes in the 74th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Norberto Gil kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. QBSLC's Lucio Tonete managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arnulfo Perfecto in the 83 minute of the game. Benigno Joanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustino Pio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Senon, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Norberto Gil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Joanes in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Domingos Peyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded QBSLC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Salado FC.
