The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Quico got free with Ismael Endura in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th match minute, Pueblito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Mazuste to maneuver through the defense. If Isaac Sotil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaac Sotil to make the kick off. The supporters of Pueblito booed when La Mano de Dios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Gonsalve didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaac Sotil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Alfredo Medero managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Mano de Dios's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Medero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. La Mano de Dios's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Armando Frasquito ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pueblito's Armando Frasquito was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ismael Endura in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ismael Endura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Quico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Roman Quico came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Pueblito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Quico couldn't finish the play.
