After 35 minutes, Gaston Henry made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Riachuelo's Robustiano Playo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the match, NOT AFRAID's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Jobo came free, but Raimundo Gitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teofilo Erauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Raimundo Gitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The NOT AFRAID players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Riachuelo were winning 1-2.

Agustin Palban struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Raimundo Gitano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riachuelo. Riachuelo's Robustiano Playo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Gorbea in the 54th minute of play. If Gaston Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Teofilo Erauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Tirso kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Agustin Palban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. When the match was over Riachuelo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than NOT AFRAID throughout the match.
