The Leftraru F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Geronimo Etxeberri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 18 minutes, Hector Crispo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leftraru F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Crispo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute Geronimo Etxeberri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Osorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, CASLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Joey to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Gaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Benet in the 26th minute of the match. When Hector Crispo got free in front of the goal in the 33rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Alejo Osorio was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Geronimo Etxeberri came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Leftraru F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Etxeberri couldn't finish the play. If Hector Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geronimo Etxeberri in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejo Osorio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute, CASLA's Camilo Benet dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1.

The wind increased when Geronimo Etxeberri made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Leftraru F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Velin Hanúmov to maneuver through the defense. Justino Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hector Crispo struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Alejo Osorio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leftraru F.C.. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geronimo Etxeberri in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejo Osorio saved CASLA from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Geronimo Etxeberri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leftraru F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Geronimo Etxeberri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejo Osorio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guillermo Gaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Benet in the 65th minute of play. If Geronimo Etxeberri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Crispo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Osorio having to interfere. Justino Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Guillermo Gaitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CASLA's zone, Geronimo Etxeberri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejo Osorio came out of the goal and Geronimo Etxeberri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hector Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geronimo Etxeberri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Alejo Osorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, CASLA's goalkeeper Alejo Osorio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Crispo. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind CASLA's goalkeeper Alejo Osorio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artemio Bernal during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Leftraru F.C. booed when CASLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Bernal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmar Shepherd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejo Osorio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Hector Crispo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
