Geronimo Etxeberri started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the La Mano de Dios defense, Hector Crispo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Endura. The La Mano de Dios fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Endura should have stopped the shot. Alfredo Medero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Gaitan having to interfere. Guillermo Gaitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Sotil, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Alfredo Medero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guillermo Gaitan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaac Sotil in the 20th minute. The audience was convinced that Isaac Sotil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guillermo Gaitan was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Hector Crispo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, La Mano de Dios's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Etxeberri came free, but Ismael Endura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Endura came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Leftraru F.C.'s Hector Crispo. But to his dismay, Hector Crispo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Hector Crispo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ismael Endura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, La Mano de Dios's Gogo Gonsalve got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half Leftraru F.C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaac Sotil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Hector Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Geronimo Etxeberri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elvio Chico during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to La Mano de Dios getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Elvio Chico hit a great ball. Geronimo Etxeberri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Endura having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, La Mano de Dios's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hector Crispo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Hector Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Crispo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Ismael Endura made a huge save. Marcelo Vachon hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute Isaac Sotil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Gaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Hector Crispo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ismael Endura. That made the score 0-4 in the 76 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geronimo Etxeberri in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Endura saved La Mano de Dios from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Medero in the 93rd minute of play forced Leftraru F.C.'s goalkeeper Guillermo Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Gaitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Sotil, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
